Rates
- The 2008 rates are $450 for the Vis-à-vis or Wagon for a minimum of two hours of service plus a fee of $50 for each additional half-hour. ($550 for the Surrey. See the Carriage ride page)
- A $100 deposit to Classic Carriage is required to confirm a reservation for a specific date and time. The deposit is applied to the total fee.

The 2008 mileage rate to transport equipment and the horses is based on $1.75/per mile, round trip. Mileage charges are negotiable based on distance from Harrisonburg and length of time required for carriage services. Mileage rates may vary according to current fuel rates.

Cancellation

If, for any reason, an event is cancelled by the customer more than eight weeks from the scheduled activity, 50% of the deposit ($50) will be returned to the customer.

If cancellation occurs less than eight weeks and more than three weeks from the scheduled event, 50% of the $450 fee ($225 less deposit) will be invoiced by Classic Carriage.

If cancellation occurs less than three weeks from the scheduled event, the entire fee of $450 (less deposit) will be invoiced by Classic Carriage.

In the event of inclement weather, Classic Carriage will do everything possible to provide the expected services even if the weather is less than ideal. In the event of inclement weather, Classic Carriage will not refund the deposit but will make arrangements to give a two-hour ride on a special occasion within one year of the cancelled event. In this case, there would be a $100 discount.
